Although you may have heard rumors that protesters have arrived en masse to challenge the corperate advances of industry, and a leaked report of convicts passing by the island may be putting some guests on edge, rest assured everything will be OK! 

 

In truth, let these be the least of your worries, as there is much more to fear than the surface. Who are they? What are they? Emanation is an upcoming survival horror one-shot LARP taking place in secluded Harbor Island, New England and no matter what brought you here, you are guaranteed to get more than you bargained for.

 

The plot, location, and type of horror present in this game are kept intentionally vague, but expect high themes of paranoia, atmospheric dread, and psychological trauma; as such, this game requires players to "buy in" to the horror environment. The game has a slow burn with high intrigue to start, followed by escalating lethality. Life is cheap and can be cut tragically short; when it is lost, PCs may join the ranks of the ever growing NPC hordes of darkness. However, sometimes death is not the end, sometimes death isn’t what we thought it was. You may survive the odds and find yourself blissfully unaware you have been Altered by the experience. This game is not a "heroic" horror but rather you are a character trying to survive against oppressive odds.
